Korn Working On New Album
Korn have started writing their new album - which they claim is influenced by Soundgarden.
The album, which will be the band’s 10th, will be recorded in April, according to guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer. It will be the follow-up to their 2010 album "Korn III: Remember Who You Are".
Speaking to online magazine Zoiks, Shaffer said: "We went into the studio a couple of months ago, wrote some songs, Jonathan [Davis, singer] demoed the songs on his computer, and then we took them into the studio and played them live and tweaked them a little bit."

Shaffer said of the band’s new material: "They [the new songs] kind of remind me a little bit of the Soundgarden style, that sort of Seattle sound."
He added: "We'll probably start recording in April to try and fine tune this sound we're developing."
The band are strongly rumoured joining the line-up for this year's Download Festival soon.
